Shredded Buffalo Ranch Chicken

Open workout 17.2 – makes two total RX’d workouts!

As much as I wanted muscle up glory – just wasn’t going to happen. I was just happy that I even made it to the muscle ups round in 7:37. Plenty of time to seek that “Open magic”, but just didn’t happen. And I’m fine with that. It gives me goats to work on. Things to strive for. And to me, that’s what the Open is all about. Exposing your strengths AND your weaknesses.

Cut 3 for RP is made easier when you can find zero calorie ways to flavor your food! Enter Ranch seasoning packets and Frank’s hot sauce. Pretty much heaven in a crockpot when you add chicken and a little bit of liquid.


2 large chicken breasts

1 cup chicken stock

1 packet of Ranch seasoning mix

1 cup Frank’s hot sauce

Salt and pepper, to taste
Combine all of the above into a crockpot and heat on low for about 4 to 6 hours.

Shred chicken and add vegetables or salad greens.

If you’re not RP, the possibilities are really endless – quesadillas, pizza, sandwiches, etc.
